Back pain is one of the commonest complaints world-wide. For most people back pain is due to mechanical ‘wear and tear’ on the spine. Arthritis is the abnormal degeneration of the joints can lead to back pain, particularly in the lower back. 

Osteoporosis is the thinning and weakening of the bones due to osteoporosis may cause the bones in the spine to collapse resulting in back pain.

Other back pain conditions are as cancer, TB, abcess, or blood vessel abnormalities. In all, most people will experience an episode of the back pain from time to time.
